1. Introduction

The Fr. Francis Guezou Foundation was established with the primary objective of building a strong and committed community of past pupils of the Don Bosco Centre founded by Fr. Francis Guezou. The Foundation continuously strives to serve society, with special focus on individuals associated with Don Bosco Centre, by promoting its mission and values.

Members of the Foundation act as ambassadors of Don Bosco Centre, propagating its philosophy and ideals in their workplaces, families, and society.

2. Composition of Members

The Foundation comprises all alumni of Don Bosco Centre, including past pupils of:

  • Guezou Illam
  • BICS InfoTech
  • Don Bosco College

Alumni from the inception of these institutions are enrolled as members of the Foundation.

3. Objectives

  • To promote unity and lifelong association among alumni of Don Bosco Centre.
  • To encourage alumni to realize their social responsibility through active participation in community development.
  • To facilitate knowledge sharing and mobilization of resources.
  • To create placement and career opportunities for students graduating from Don Bosco Centre.
  • To disseminate the mission and values of Don Bosco Centre in society.

  • Mobilization of funds for scholarships from government, private, and corporate sources.
  • Distribution of scholarships such as Service Scholarships and Merit Scholarships to deserving students.
  • Organization of alumni interactions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentoring programmes.
  • Resource mobilization for academic and social development initiatives.
  • Promotion of best practices and professional networking among alumni.

5. Role as a Mediator

The Foundation acts as a vital link between the management and all stakeholders by regularly disseminating information related to institutional news, events, and achievements. It strengthens collaboration between alumni, students, faculty, and management.
