On behalf of the Bosco Theatre Club of Don Bosco College, Yelagiri Hills, the National Human Rights Day was celebrated with great significance on 10.12.2025 (Wednesday) in front of the Boat house at Yelagiri Hills.

The event commenced with the blessing of the College Rector and Secretary, Rev. Dr. Bosco Augustine SDB, followed by the felicitation address delivered by the College Principal, Dr. L. Ravi. The Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Charles Grace SDB, presented the purpose of the celebration.

Under the leadership of the Dean, Rev. Fr. Jerome Henry SDB, and the Campus Minister, Fr. Arokiya Berdouil SDB, a human rights awareness rally started from the college campus and proceeded to the Boathouse, carrying awareness placards. At the venue, an awareness drama was performed to highlight fundamental human rights and to promote understanding of human rights among the public.

Towards the end of the program, the Coordinator of the Bosco Drama Movement, Assistant Professor Mr N. Karthick, delivered the vote of thanks. More than 50 college students and over 150 members of the public participated and benefited from the program.

The entire event was successfully organized and led by the Coordinator of the Bosco Theatre Club, Assistant Professor Mr N. Karthick, and the Joint Coordinator, Head of Tamil Dr. T. Latha.
